Book of Leviathan is an activated collectible from the Repentance Plus mod.
Effect[]
Book of Leviathan:
- Grants 2 keys when first picked up.
- Requires a key to be used. Does nothing if used without keys, nor does it consume charges. If Isaac has golden key, a key will not be consumed.
- When used, cripples all enemies in the room, similarly to The Cross of Chaos.
Book of Leviathan has a 20% chance to transform into the Unchained Book of Leviathan upon use, but only if it has been used at least twice. This book acts the same way, but has less charge and requires red health to be drained from Isaac (half red heart per use).
Unchained Book of Leviathan has a 30% chance to transform into the Open Book of Leviathan on use, but only if it has been used at least three times. This book acts the same way, but can be used freely.

- Store Key: Crippled enemies have a 75% chance to drop a random pickup (bomb, coin or key) on death.
- Rusted Key: Applies confusion to crippled enemies.
- Crystal Key: Enemies have a 75% chance to become frozen on death.
- Blue Key: Crippled enemies can drop a half soul heart on death.
- Strange Key: Applies random status effects to crippled enemies.
- Gilded Key: Can randomly turn enemies into gold on use.
- Basement Key: Crippled enemies can spawn bone orbitals on death.
- Key to the Heart: Crippled enemies can drop a half red heart on death.
- Key Knife: Applies bleed to crippled enemies.
